Frequently Asked Questions about the Text Line

What is the Action Text Line for?

The ActWisconsin Action Text Line is for mass-mobilizations, getting as many people as possible where they need to be when they need to be there.

How can I help the Action Text Line?

You should encourage as many people as possible to sign up for the Action Text Line, and you should share texts when they come through on social media, including Facebook, Bluesky, Instagram and more.

When will I receive notifications?

You'll receive notifications when urgent actions are called by the ActWisconsin Statewide Coalition or partners, like Voces de la Frontera or local coalitions.

Do I have to be in a specific area to get notifications?

We ask that all who sign up be located in the state of Wisconsin, at the moment.

This is NOT normal.

Our government has sent extrajudicial police to our cities, quartered large bodies of troops in communities across America, terrorized our communities, threatened to interfere in our elections, and more.

IN WISCONSIN, WE'RE TAKING NOTE.

WHO WE ARE

We're a broad Wisconsin-based coalition of organizations from various parts of the political spectrum and from various locations in the state - including everyone from local grassroots groups, to statewide groups, to No Kings Organizers.

We came together because we've recognize that the state of America is fragile right now, and we agree that our personal and collective security is at risk as ICE continues to invade our communities and the National Guard occupies our cities. We believe that our personal and collective security - the one thing that we need in order to fight for a better world, needs to be protected, and we choose to stand together and protect it together.
